Geely Galaxy Starship Concept
At 2024 Beijing Autoshow, Geely Auto unveiled Galaxy Starship, a full-size, high-tech flagship SUV prototype embodying the idea of a "Civilian Galactic Space Station". To meet the evolving needs for an intelligent space and mobility in the smart EV era, Galaxy Starship integrates advanced technologies like autonomous driving, big data, AI, and cloud computing, creating a journey that is intuitive, cozy, and in tune with what users truly need.
The space acts as a unifying thread of diverse intelligent experiences. Based on the Chinese philosophy of spatial experiences, the interior integrates natural landscapes to offer a fresh view from every seat. Users can enjoy the future of mobility that offers intimate interaction, transcends internal and external boundaries, merges reality with virtual realms, and synchronizes with the satellite.
To amplify a sense of spaciousness, the interior layout is divided into three thematic areas - Water, Yacht, and Shore - immersing both the driver and passengers in a natural ambiance. By opening all six doors, the confined interior expands into the expansive outdoors for an expansive view.
The interior, featuring an asymmetrical design enriched with varied colors and materials, provides a unique view from each seat. The AI mobility robot in the second row transforms traditional transportation with its AI-powered digital chassis, enabling autonomous driving and smooth transitions into and out of the vehicle to access more scenarios. User experience is further improved with a sweeping aerial view offered by the AI-powered aircraft mounted on the vehicle roof.
The lighting effects changes with users' operations, with the exterior LED strips and the interior interactive screen coordinating for a dynamic display across diverse scenarios. Internally, the smart hardware is concealed to maximize space for users. Notably, the waveguide-based AR display surpasses traditional screens by offering smart interaction and spatial transparency. The AI-powered digital pet interacts with users in a responsive and heartfelt manner by leveraging the emotional module of a large-scale AI model. This feature seamlessly integrates with the vehicle's holographic projection system for more engaging interaction.
