Ferrari is an Italian car manufacturer founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1939 and based in Maranello. It builds luxury sports cars and supercars and is closely tied to motorsport, its Scuderia Ferrari being the oldest and most successful team in Formula One. Among its best-known models are the 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, LaFerrari and F80. Since 2015 it has been a publicly traded company listed on the NYSE and Borsa Italiana, shipping around 14 thousand cars a year.
