Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray [EU]
With model year 2026, Chevrolet introduced a comprehensive redesign of the Corvette range's interior. The update applies to all variants - Stingray, E-Ray, and Z06 - and marks the most significant cockpit evolution since the introduction of the C8 generation. The focus is on clearer operating logic, an even more driver-centric layout, and a consistent modernization of the digital interfaces.
At the same time, two new exterior colors, Roswell Green Metallic and Blade Silver Metallic, along with additional interior options, expand personalization possibilities - both for everyday use and for track deployment.
The result is an even more immersive and highly configurable cockpit that increases comfort and everyday practicality without diluting the driving dynamics typical of the Corvette.
New three-display cockpit replaces the button wall
The most visible change concerns the instrument and control architecture. The characteristic and much-discussed "Button Wall" along the center console is eliminated in favor of a more open and tidier interior concept.
Going forward, the Corvette features a clearly structured three-display setup:
The new 6.6-inch auxiliary display provides a dedicated, freely configurable area for quickly and individually accessing important information such as trip data, G-force readouts, or activation of Launch Control. All displays have been graphically revised; modernized animations and clearer layouts for Tour, Sport, and Track modes improve the readability of speed, engine speed, and secondary gauges.
Revised center console, clear functional arrangement
With the reorganization of the center console, Chevrolet aims for more intuitive, less fragmented operation and a balanced combination of physical and virtual controls:
The center console also features newly designed cupholders with soft-touch inserts, ambient lighting, and the typical crossed Corvette flags on the floor. In the 2LT/2LZ and 3LT/3LZ trim levels, they are additionally finished with genuine aluminum accents.
The passenger also benefits: the removal of the Button Wall creates more freedom of movement, a new passenger grab handle provides additional stability during dynamic driving, and an additional USB-C port on the passenger side increases everyday practicality.
Tactile performance: PTM Pro and optimized operating logic
For 2026, Chevrolet placed greater emphasis on clear haptic feedback for driving-dynamics functions. New dedicated physical buttons control Performance Traction Management (PTM). The system is supplemented by the new PTM Pro mode:
On the E-Ray, the Charge+ button - which allows the battery state of charge to be built up more quickly or held longer for track sessions - has been moved to a prominent position on the steering wheel below the Z-Mode button, making it more accessible.
Across all models, voice commands support operation: the voice assistant can control navigation, telephony, cabin temperature, and audio functions, among other things - without unnecessarily taking the driver's eyes off the road.
Previously, the hybridized all-wheel-drive Corvette E-Ray offered live information on power and torque distribution via the E-Ray Performance App. For model year 2026, the Performance App is expanded to the entire Corvette range and supplemented with additional data types. It can be displayed on the 6.6-inch auxiliary display, the central display, or - in Tour and Sport modes - in the driver's information display.
In parallel, the available Performance Data Recorder (PDR) receives a comprehensively revised user interface. Thanks to system improvements and larger displays, the PDR now enables real-time analysis of data in the vehicle, including:
All Corvette models for model year 2026 feature a tailored infotainment system with Google Built-In that is fully integrated into the vehicle functions. Depending on the market, complementary Connected Services are available that further expand comfort and entertainment functions.
In addition to native Google services such as Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Chrome, or YouTube, selected third-party apps can be installed via Google Play (depending on market and availability) to stream content, play games, or browse the web while stationary. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto remain available in parallel, so drivers can decide whether to use the integrated services or their smartphone.
In addition to the functional and digital modernization, the material and color world of the Corvette has been significantly expanded. For the first time, Chevrolet offers an asymmetrical interior color scheme in Jet Black and Adrenaline Red that runs distinctly across the instrument panel, center console, and seats, optically clearly separating the driver and passenger areas.
Furthermore, the 2026 Corvette range introduces four new interior themes available across models:
For particularly sport-oriented customers, Chevrolet offers the option of mixed seating in the asymmetrical Adrenaline Red interior: on request, the driver's seat is equipped with a race-inspired Adrenaline Red Competition seat, while the passenger sits in a Jet Black GT2 seat.
A new carbon-fiber cover over the driver's information display is now available for E-Ray and Z06. It offers additional personalization options and optically picks up the other carbon options in the vehicle.
On the exterior, the new colors Roswell Green Metallic and Blade Silver Metallic expand the Corvette program. In addition, customers can choose a new asymmetrical center stripe in Edge Red/Carbon Flash.
For E-Ray and Z06, body-colored side skirts will be standard in future; blue brake calipers can also be optionally specified. A new optionally available electrochromic coupe roof allows the tint of the targa roof glass panel to be adjusted at the push of a button in three stages - full, medium, or low.
With the combination of the new UX architecture, significantly upgraded digital infrastructure, and expanded personalization options, Chevrolet sharpens the Corvette's role as an American icon with a highly modern, driver-oriented interior architecture and sets a clear statement in the sports car segment.
In addition to the functional modernization, the material and color design has been expanded. For the first time, Chevrolet is introducing asymmetrical color concepts, including Jet Black/Adrenaline Red or Santorini Blue. Further new interior tones such as Very Dark Atmosphere or Sky Cool Gray with Habanero accents complete the offering.
