BAIC Beijing BJ40P
BJ40 is the core off-road model of BAIC group Beijing brand ORV family which aims to offer users a relaxing and comfortable experience that integrates with nature as well. For enthusiasts who crave soul-stirring, legendary off-road performance and a new level of on-road performance, BAIC group introduced the BJ40P which has been launched in 2024.
BJ40P features off-road suspensions with height 20mm increased than basic BJ40C. The result is the most capable BJ40 ever with 240mm of ground clearance; improved suspension articulation and maneuverability; approach, departure and ramp angles of 38, 36 and 28 degrees, respectively; and the ability to traverse up to 800mm of water. A/T tires come as standard.
BJ40P model makes the open-top experience quick, easy and fun. It comes with a standard three-section roof system. By removing all the three roof panels, it offers the largest overall open-top view in its class to take in the sunshine or to gaze at the stars at night.
Apart from the roof, it also features removable bumper and wheel arch for improved customization. 2.5 ton towing capability is standard as well as powering facilities during outdoor life.
Thanks to the integrated racing level roll cage design and groundbreaking hydraulic bulging body technology, passengers' safety could be assured in off-road driving.
BJ40P comes with petrol or diesel powertrains with all the basic functions enhanced. The diesel version carries 85-liter fuel tank, rated at 120kw Power and 400N·m of torque with a mileage of over 1000 kilometers being achieved. All-terrain electronic AWD system promises all-weather assurance on paved road. Off road, just one wheel could help the car out. Front seat-heating and L2 ADAS functions are available to mark the most comfortable BJ40 ever.
For the petrol version, max 10250N·m would be available with a pioneering 4.0 low-range transfer case and 2.0T+8AT powertrain for low speed high torque, which enables off-roading in extreme conditions.
BJ40P exterior comes with BJ40 design with darkened deco parts.
