Genesis is a South Korean luxury car brand launched in 2015 when Hyundai Motor Group spun it off from its flagship model line. It was the first luxury division established by a Korean automaker. Its range comprises the G-series sedans (G70, G80, G90) and the GV-series SUVs (GV60, GV70, GV80), including electric versions. The brand entered the United States in 2017 and Europe in 2021 and continues to expand into other regions. Genesis is active and is set to enter endurance racing from 2026 with its Genesis Magma Racing team.
