GAC has unveiled the full interior of its all-new hardcore off-road SUV, the YUE 7, at its launch event, following the model's exterior debut. The event showcased YUE 7's distinctive Octagonal Design Language, refined functionalism and highly adaptable architecture, demonstrating GAC's approach to combining hardcore off-road capability with sophisticated urban usability.

Designed around a distinctive Octagonal Design Language, YUE 7 translates the octagon into a comprehensive design system spanning both exterior and interior. The geometric language balances the stability of squared-off forms with the agility of curved surfaces, creating a bold, cohesive and recognizable identity. Through purposeful proportions, refined detailing and functional design, YUE 7 delivers a versatile "Urban & Off-Road" experience.

YUE 7's boxy body architecture is defined by the octagon as its core geometric motif. The design language extends across the window frames, wheel arches, bumpers, headlamps and door handles, creating a consistent visual identity throughout the exterior.

An upright windshield and compact front and rear overhangs contribute to strong approach and departure angles, supporting confident obstacle crossing. The straight-edged body also enhances visibility, cargo capacity and structural rigidity. On the air-suspension variant, YUE 7 achieves up to 310 mm of ground clearance in wading mode, reinforcing its hardcore off-road capability.

The exterior combines rugged proportions with carefully considered functional details. The matrix headlights feature phased-array radar-inspired textures, while an embossed GAC logo is integrated into the grille. Split fog lamps and three-dimensional stacked taillights with dual lighting effects enhance the vehicle's distinctive visual signature, particularly at night.

Two-tone floating door handles further extend the octagonal design language while balancing integrated styling with mechanical durability. Across the exterior, each detail is designed to combine visual character with practical functionality.

YUE 7 is engineered from the factory with overland customization in mind. It features 37 reserved modification points, dedicated engine-bay wiring and dual waterproof power ports integrated into the roof rails, allowing users to add equipment without drilling into the body or modifying the vehicle's wiring.

Multiple wheel and tire combinations, three rear tailgate configurations and a certified 1.6-ton towing capacity provide a flexible foundation for different overland setups. The exterior color strategy, featuring "1 Trend + 3 Classic + Unlimited Customization," includes Sand Yellow, Black, Silver and White, offering a range of expressions for outdoor adventure, urban driving and personalized customization.

Making its global interior debut, YUE 7 carries the Octagonal Design Language into the cabin through strong horizontal and vertical lines, tactical hard components and refined soft-touch surfaces. The result is a cockpit that balances a rugged visual character with long-distance comfort.

At its center is the industry-first Trinity Intelligent Display System, comprising an octagonal instrument cluster, a 1.1-meter P-HUD, and a 15.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen with continuous OTA upgrade capability. Together, the three displays create a layered digital interface that provides intuitive access to driving information, vehicle functions and connectivity.

Tactical Functionality | Every Detail with a Purpose

The interior further expresses YUE 7's functional design philosophy through a range of tactile and purpose-driven features. The tactical seats combine grid stitching inspired by tactical vests and tank armor with premium soft leather, enhanced lateral support and airbag massage functions, providing greater comfort on uneven terrain and long journeys.

The octagonal steering wheel incorporates two customizable shortcut keys for off-road controls and modified equipment operation. An octagonal central console integrates one-touch controls for differential locks, air suspension and terrain modes, together with a barrel-shaped sunglasses case, modular storage, wireless charging and adjustable cup-holder dividers.

Aviation-inspired overhead toggle switches support programmable control of external equipment, while more than 40 physical buttons enable precise operation even when wearing gloves, ensuring key functions remain easily accessible during off-road driving.

Flexible Living Space | From Basecamp to Urban Lounge

YUE 7's boxy architecture maximizes usable interior space and supports a wide range of scenarios. With one-touch electric folding rear seats, the cabin can transform into a 1.9-meter full-flat sleeping platform with 2.3 square meters of usable space and 950 mm of headroom, creating a practical setup for overnight camping.

The second-row seats feature a 170 mm electric sliding track and 117°-127° stepless electric backrest adjustment, allowing the interior layout to adapt between passenger comfort and cargo capacity.

A recessed storage tray with an integrated charging port is positioned on the front passenger dashboard. Full-vehicle MOLLE expansion panels on all four doors, together with multiple threaded mounting points, support the installation of walkie-talkie brackets, phone holders and outdoor equipment. The cabin can therefore transition between an outdoor equipment hub and a comfortable mobile lounge.

Three interior color themes - Sand Gold, Black and Cloud White - further extend YUE 7's dual character across outdoor exploration and everyday family use.
