DS Automobiles is a French premium car brand. It began in 2009 as a more upmarket line within Citroën — the name recalls the legendary 1955–1975 Citroën DS — and has operated as a standalone marque since 2014. Part of the Stellantis group, it positions itself through distinctive design and higher equipment levels. Its range has included models such as the DS 3, DS 4, DS 7 Crossback and the flagship DS 9, and the brand also competes in the all-electric Formula E championship.
