Building on the most award-winning new car ever, and celebrating its 60th year, the 300 nameplate boldly takes the Chrysler brand design to new heights, thanks to its iconic exterior proportions with more sculptural style highlighted by a new, commanding Chrysler front-end and grille, and an even more inviting interior with expressive surfaces highlighted by new world-class technologies, emotional colors and materials.

Six decades of head-turning American style

Building on six decades of elegant American design, the new 2015 Chrysler 300 illustrates the brand's new head-turning design sophistication through more sculptural and fluid forms, all while enhancing the sedan's signature silhouette.

"Our new 300 sedan builds on the Chrysler brand's new ethos of head-turning design that is attainable and timeless," said Brandon Faurote, Head of Chrysler Brand Design. "Delivering on this philosophy, the team infused more fluid and elegant forms to the Chrysler 300 sedan's iconic proportions, achieving a look that elevates America's most distinguishable large sedan, while embracing the new design direction of the brand."

At the front of the new 2015 Chrysler 300, a redesigned fascia features a more sculptured surface, taller more prominent grille with a unique dimensional texture and chrome grille surround. The grille contains the Chrysler wing badge, which appears to float within the dramatic grille texture and highlights the new "face of Chrysler." Nestled below the upper grille is an elegantly drawn chrome Mobius strip, which outlines the lower grille opening and extends outward, surrounding the new optional LED fog lamps. This new Chrysler 300 design detail provides visual width, and gives the vehicle an athletic appearance consistent with the recently introduced Chrysler 200 sedan for a strong family identity. Highlighting Chrysler brand's use of lighting technology are bi-functional projector beam headlamps, which offer adaptive forward lighting (AFL) to better illuminate road curves ahead, while integrated LED-illuminated daytime running lamps (DRL) form a "C" shape for an unmistakable brand identity. Below, new LED fog lamps are available and provide a crisp, clean and consistent white illumination and technical look.

From the side, unmistakably strong, yet subtly executed shoulder lines pay homage to the Chrysler 300 series design heritage and define the correlation between front and rear wheel arches. A high-beltline stays true to the Chrysler 300 sedan's signature proportion, while its elegantly tailored chrome side window surrounds and available chrome mirrors hint at the luxurious interior within. Seven new wheel designs, ranging from 17 inches to a wider and wheel-well-filling 20 inches, provide the new 2015 Chrysler 300 with a planted, road-holding look.

Finishing the new Chrysler 300 sedan's powerful rear stance is a new sculpted LED tail lamp with an illuminated halo, providing a unique signature appearance. A restyled rear fascia has a more fluid surface and features a tailored chrome fascia trim accent. Below, a new lower valance in black provides visual width and lightens the appearance of the sedan. Last, a pair of elegantly drawn polished exhaust tips, placed in the corners, gives the Chrysler 300 an upscale athletic appearance. These key design elements provide a visual tie to the all-new Chrysler 200 sedan, while keeping each models' unique personality.

New expressive colors for the 2015 Chrysler 300 sedan include Velvet Red Pearl Coat, Maximum Steel Metallic Clear Coat and, for the athletic 300S model, Redline 3 Tri-coat Pearl. In addition, Billet Silver, Bright White, Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl, Gloss Black, Granite Crystal Metallic, Ivory Tri-coat Pearl, Jazz Blue Pearl and Phantom Black Tri-coat Pearl.

Unmistakable proportions, with distinct personalities

Through its lifestyle-driven model lineup, the new 2015 Chrysler 300 illustrates its multiple styles and personalities from the unmistakable exterior proportions - now sculpted with an even more expressive appearance.

The new 2015 Chrysler 300 Limited models exude elegance and refinement through the chrome grille surround, fascia accent details, as well as chrome side window surrounds. Chrome projector headlamps and accented LED tail lamps provide a premium look, while 17-inch (19-inch with all-wheel drive (AWD)) silver-painted aluminum wheels fill the wheel wells. Adding even more luxury style is the new 2015 Chrysler 300C with chrome mirror caps and door handles that hark back to the prestige of Chrysler brand's original 300 "letter series" cars. Model-specific 18-inch polished wheels (19-inch with AWD) and LED fog lamps hint to the high level of standard equipment within.

Chrysler brand's S-models continue to be among the most sought after lineup of vehicles with an athletic style to match their sport-tuned performance - and for 2015, the new Chrysler 300S has an even more imposing presence. Outside, the Chrysler 300S features a monochromatic look with body-color door handles and fascia inserts. At the front, a new Black Chrome grille surround and lower Mobius strip are paired with black headlamp bezels for a discrete look. Model-specific Chrysler wing badges in Bright Chrome feature a black "Chrysler" center logo. Emphasizing the Chrysler 300S model's iconic silhouette are Gloss Black daylight opening surrounds and the availability of a Gloss Black painted roof. Large 20-inch aluminum wheels (19-inch with AWD) are finished in Hyper Black and provide a more athletic stance. At the rear, unique 300S-specific LED tail lamps feature black bezels paired to a body-color fascia insert. And with the 363 horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI®V-8 engine, the new 2015 Chrysler 300S adds more sculptural side sills and a deck-lid spoiler.

The design team for the new 2015 Chrysler 300 incorporated unique colors, materials and elements to create an interior identity for each model that is comfortable, yet beautiful and distinctively American.

As the pinnacle of the Chrysler brand's lineup, the new 300C Platinum offers an all-new and exclusive two-tone Indigo/Linen interior inspired by La Jolla's ocean views lined by sandy expanses and unexpected coves. This sedan's interior environment features segment-exclusive use of quilted and perforated Nappa leather on front and rear seats. Highlighting this sedan's world-class level of craftsmanship and comfort are premium Nappa leather door panels with exclusive quilted inserts. Once limited to exotic sedans priced tens of thousands more, ultra high-end Foligno leather from Italian leather expert, Poltrona Frau, wraps the instrument panel and sides of the center console and is finished with French accent stitching. A two-tone Indigo/Linen leather-wrapped steering wheel is hand-stitched together and includes die-cast paddle shifters and a unique chrome accent ring to highlight the segment-exclusive 360-degree heated rim. The high-fashion and rock-'n'-roll edge of Fifth Avenue in New York City was the inspiration for the black leather interiors available in every Chrysler 300 model. Bright Chrome and Satin Chrome accents highlight the black leather environment. Model specific use of hydrographic and stitching accents include Charcoal Metallic and black stitching (300 Limited) and Matte Carbon and Silver stitching (300S), while real Black Olive Ash Burl wood with Bronze stitching is standard on 300C models. For a bespoke look, specially selected and hand-sanded natural pore wood is stained in a matte-Mocha finish and paired with black accent stitching

Detroit, Michigan - Black / Ambassador Blue

The tenacious, "never-say-die" spirit of Detroit was the inspiration for the 300S model's exclusive black with Ambassador Blue Nappa leather interior with industrious Silver accent stitching. For added detail, the center console armrest and door armrests are color matched to this model's unique sport seats and feature French seamed stitching in silver. Exclusive use of Piano Black on the interior center stack, instrument panel, steering wheel, gauge cluster and door panel elements provide a uniquely lacquered and highly detailed appearance. Matte Carbon hydrographic accents and die-cast paddle shifters are also included

A city that projects "oneness" with its environment - Sausalito, California was the muse for the two-tone Linen and black interior. Inside a peaceful Zen is represented by the Linen and black materials. Bright Chrome and Satin Chrome accents highlight the environment while Charcoal Metallic hydrographic accents with black stitching and Black Olive Ash Burl wood with Bronze stitching accents provide 300 Limited and 300C models with a high level of craftsmanship

Intuitive and well-integrated state-of-the-art technologies

The 2015 Chrysler 300 was designed with thoughtful, state-of-the-art, high-tech features and amenities, which are intuitive and easy to use.

Strategically located between the large speedometer and tachometer gauges is an all-new 7-inch driver information display (DID), which features a full-color display and allows for customized vehicle information in the format the driver prefers. With steering-wheel controls, the DID can toggle between vehicle speed, turn-by-turn navigation, real-time fuel economy, audio driver assistance warnings, and safety and security functions, such as ParkSense rear park assist and Full-speed Forward Collision Warning- Plus, audio information and trip details.

Centered on the instrument panel is the latest and award-winning Uconnect 8.4A or premium 8.4AN system with navigation, which allows the driver to control the audio, climate controls, heated/ventilated seats and much more from the segment's largest 8.4-inch touchscreen display, the redundant controls located below the touchscreen, or with voice commands. The touchscreen buttons are large and easy to see at a glance.

Taking a page from the all-new Chrysler 200, the new Chrysler 300 features the state-of-the-art fully electronic rotary gear die-cast selector knob, which is beautiful, as well as functional. Unlike a traditional transmission shifter, the rotary shift knob sits close to the center console surface, is ergonomically positioned and remains out of the way of the instrument panel's center stack. At the back of the center console, two USB charging ports have been added for additional mobile device convenience.

Attention to detail is prevalent throughout the new Chrysler 300, as no space was overlooked.

Interior cabin storage begins with a center armrest executed to ensure optimal use with the ability to slide fore and aft. Storage under the armrest provides access to a rubber-matted, flocked sliding change tray, flocked storage, and spring-capped media hub with auxiliary audio inputs and USB port for personal device connections.

Dual front cup holders are covered with a tambour door, and outfitted with LED-illuminated Sapphire Blue light rings and rubberized spring-finger pinchers to securely hold various sized beverage containers. Optional cooled/heated cup holders intuitively glow blue (cold) and red (hot).

Oversized pockets on all four doors integrate large bottle holders and grained surfacing, while a cubby bin located forward of the new rotary transmission shifter provides covered access, a rubberized mat, flocked surfacing, and ambient accent lighting. An oversized glove box incorporates a center-positioned light for even light distribution and an upper shelf for owner's manual stowage.

To maximize rear passenger legroom, front seats feature sculpted seat backs to allow for nearly 1-inch (20 mm) of additional rear passenger knee room and premium appearance. Additionally, the Chrysler 300 sedan's seat track location is optimized for maximum rear passenger foot space.

The design of the TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission further contributes to efficiency. At 194 pounds (88 kg), it weighs just four pounds (1.8 kg) more than the previous Chrysler 300's five-speed gearbox. Furthermore, the transmission features particularly close fifth through eighth-speed gear ratios for smoother shifting, along with a lower cruising rpm in top gear for added refinement.

Class-exclusive electronic rotary shifter

Connecting the driver to the segment-exclusive TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission is a new segment-exclusive electronic rotary shifter. With its intuitive design, this new transmission shifter enables intuitive operation with a direct and confident feel. In addition to being convenient and easy-to-understand and operate, the new design yields space for more functional and usable storage in the center console.

Improved Sport mode reduces shifts to 250 milliseconds; changes personality

Thanks to the speed of its PowerNet electrical architecture, the new 2015 Chrysler 300S and 300C Platinum models and 300C with 5.7-liter V-8 feature an "S" gear and Sport mode - instantly transforming the sedan's performance and personality - including quicker shift times (from approximately 400 milliseconds to 250 milliseconds).

Using the segment-exclusive electronic rotary shifter, the driver can select "S" to enable sport engine and transmission calibration, more responsive accelerator pedal calibration and permanent paddle-shift.

New for 2015, the "Sport" button located on the instrument panel center stack enables sport-tuned steering calibration and temporary paddle-shift mode, in addition to sport engine and transmission calibration, and increased responsiveness of the accelerator pedal calibration. For 2015, Chrysler 300S AWD and 300C Platinum AWD models benefit even more as Sport mode turns AWD "on" (if off) and provides rear-biased torque for more dynamic handling.

Best-in-class 31 mpg with award-winning Pentastar V-6

Standard on all 2015 Chrysler 300 models is the aluminum 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine with double-overhead camshafts (DOHC), variable-cam timing (VCT), integrated exhaust manifolds, polymer-coated piston skirts, forged connecting rods and a high-pressure die-cast aluminum cylinder block in a 60-degree configuration. The engine delivers 292 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque, and up to a best-in-class 31 mpg on the highway.

For even greater V-6 performance, the Chrysler 300S model increases the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine's output to 300 horsepower and 264 lb.-ft. of torque, plus a unique sport-tuned dual exhaust system reduces back pressure and provides a more distinctive sound.

The 5.7-liter HEMI engine's innovative Fuel Saver Technology seamlessly alternates between smooth, high-fuel-economy four-cylinder mode when less power is needed - and the power of all eight cylinders when demanded. In addition, the engine also features variable-valve timing (VVT) to improve fuel economy in two ways. First, it reduces the engine's pumping work by closing the intake valve later. Second, it increases the expansion process of the combustion event. This allows more work to be transferred to the wheels instead of being lost out of the exhaust port as heat. VVT improves engine breathing, which improves engine efficiency and power.

No other major automotive manufacturer offers the combination of these two independent technologies. This advanced AWD system seamlessly transitions between RWD and AWD with no driver intervention. When AWD is not required, the system automatically disconnects the front axle to maximize fuel economy, while still providing the outstanding fun-to-drive performance and handling inherent in RWD vehicles.

All-new advanced electric power steering system

Transmitting the 2015 Chrysler 300's road-holding abilities to the driver is an all-new EPS system, which transmits precise road feel and improves on-center tracking, steering noise and fuel consumption.

Depending on the control mode, the EPS system applies variable steering effort to different driving conditions. EPS analyzes steering angle, vehicle speed, engine rpm and chassis control systems 13 times per second for a precise performance-handling feel. When the Chrysler 300 is stationary or moving at low speeds, the hydraulic pump increases power assistance for a lighter steering wheel effort. The pump reduces steering assistance at highway speeds to give the Chrysler 300 a firmer feel, and as a result, the system delivers a fuel savings of up to 1.5 percent - consuming less energy than a belt-driven pump.

For an even higher sense of precision and control, new 2015 Chrysler 300S and 300C Platinum models, plus 300C with 5.7-liter V-8 engine, include Sport mode to give the steering character greater feel and feedback.

All-new, lighter weight axles for RWD and AWD

Because efficiency and agility are positively correlated, the 2015 Chrysler 300 models feature all-new cast aluminum axles and housing. Replacing the previous steel structure, the new aluminum axles and housing help to reduce weight. The new driveline is also designed to reduce parasitic friction and increase durability with a new four-bolt design (previously a three-bolt design).

At the heart of the 2015 Chrysler 300's front suspension is a rigid and lightweight suspension cradle made from tubular steel, which features hydro-engine mounts to make the interior cabin smooth, comfortable and quiet. Premium hydro-bushings, monotube shock absorbers and a lower-front-shock-to-suspension-link bushing provide control, ride and comfort.

Rail-like cornering with roll-steer multilink rear suspension

Chrysler 300's five-link rear suspension design features roll-steer geometry to allow independent control of camber and toe suspension movement for world-class handling. The rear suspension cradle is the main attachment point for the Chrysler 300's five-link independent rear suspension system. Using rubber mounts, this hydro-formed steel cradle provides an additional structure to isolate the passenger compartment from road and axle noise, vibration and harshness (NVH). Monotube shock absorbers, premium urethane jounce bumpers and suspension links with rubber shock absorber bushings all work together to deliver ride and comfort, while upper and lower spring-seat isolators provide additional dampening to deliver smooth suspension engagement over bumps.

Aggressive front- and rear-camber geometry

Performance handling requires maximum road-holding grip, and the Chrysler 300 delivers with aggressive front- and rear-camber geometry. Set at -1.0 degrees in the front and -1.75 degrees in the rear, Chrysler 300 is set up for high-speed cornering with its tires leaning inboard at the top relative to the body.

Maximizing its ultra-rigid structural design, Chrysler 300 engineers were able to tune the cabin for sound quality (as well as sound level) by isolating the powertrain, road and wind noise. Lifestyle driven models highlight the Chrysler 300 sedan's broad appeal

Building on the success of the Chrysler 300 sedan's lifestyle driven models, the lineup has been revamped for 2015 with four highly equipped models: 300 Limited, 300S, 300C and 300C Platinum.

With more standard equipment than its direct standard full-size segment competitors, and even more features for 2015, the new Chrysler 300 Limited provides customers the most value and appointments in the nameplate's 60-year history.

Interior highlights of the Chrysler 300 Limited model include the new and segment-first electronic rotary transmission selector; newest generation Uconnect 8.4A with integrated voice commands, segment's largest 8.4-inch touchscreen, SiriusXM Radio, Bluetooth and media hub with SD card, auxiliary and USB ports; two USB recharging ports; 7-inch full-color DID cluster with analog gauges; leather seating with heated front seats; 12-way power and driver and front passenger's seats, including four-way power lumbar; leather-wrapped steering wheel with vehicle controls; manual tilt/telescoping steering column; Keyless Enter 'n Go, vehicle security alarm, dual-zone automatic climate control with humidity sensor; cabin air filtration, acoustic windshield and front-door glass, cruise control, auto-dimming rearview mirror, luxury floor mats, two 12-volt power outlets and LED-illuminated assist handles, front map lights, front cup holders, rear-passenger reading lamps and door handles, storage bin, glove box lamp and illuminated vanity mirrors.

On the exterior, the Chrysler 300 Limited model features 17-inch painted aluminum wheels, P215/65R17 all-season touring tires, comfort-tuned suspension, bi-function projector headlamps with LED-illuminated daytime running lamps; LED tail lamps, cap-less fuel-filler door with power release; body-color door handles; body-color heated exterior mirrors; plus chrome grille, grille surround, daylight opening, fascia accents and dual-exhaust tips.

The 2015 Chrysler 300 Limited is powered by a fuel-saving 3.6-liter aluminum Pentastar V-6 engine delivering 292 horsepower and up to 31 mpg on the highway, thanks to its state-of-the-art TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission.

The new 2015 Chrysler 300 Limited has a U.S. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $31,395 (plus $995 destination).

For the customer who is looking to strike the balance between performance, styling and refinement, the new 2015 Chrysler 300S is the most athletic model in the lineup - adding even more capability and sport style than before.

Building on the standard equipment of the 300 Limited, the 300S adds a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine with output increased to 300 horsepower and 264 lb.-ft. of torque; plus adds a unique sport-tuned dual exhaust system. Translating the power to the road is a new sport-tuned suspension with increased damping from the previous year. Instantly transforming the sedan's performance and personality is a revised Sport mode with paddle shifters that can reduce shift times from approximately 400 milliseconds to 250 milliseconds, increase engine and throttle responsiveness, adjust electronic stability control (ESC) settings and firm up the steering feel of the new electric power steering (EPS) system.

Inside the Chrysler 300S model includes black or an exclusive black with Ambassador Blue Nappa leather interior with industrious Silver accent stitching. Sport seats combined with exclusive use of Piano Black and Matte Carbon hydrographic accents add to this athletic-styled interior. ParkView rear backup camera, remote start and universal garage door opener add to the list of electronics, while the signature 10-speaker BeatsAudio system with 12-channel amplifier integrating the Beats proprietary equalizer algorithm creates the high-definition sound of professional recording studios.

Outside, the new Chrysler 300S trades chrome exterior accents for unique blacked-out and body-color design details and all-new Hyper Black finished 20-inch aluminum wheels.

And new for 2015, drivers looking for even more rear-wheel drive (RWD) performance can choose the 363 horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI® V-8 engine with TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission - which also adds uniquely sculpted side sills and deck-lid spoiler.

Building on the nameplate's "letter series" prestige, the new 2015 Chrysler 300C features the comfort and conveniences that premium sedan buyers are looking for, without the premium price. In addition to the standard equipment of the 300 Limited, the 300C models is highlighted with black or Black/Linen heated and cooled perforated Nappa leather seating with heated second row seats, 360-degree heated leather-wrapped steering wheel; power tilt-and-telescoping steering column; memory for radio, driver's seat and auto-dimming mirrors with auto-tilt in Reverse; power backlight sunshade, Satin Chrome lower door sills, LED-illuminated front footwells and trunk mat. Additional technology features include the innovative Uconnect 8.4AN radio with navigation, HD radio, plus SiriusXM Travel Link and real-time SiriusXM Traffic; and an Alpine premium audio system with six speakers and 276-watt amplifier.

Outside, the Chrysler 300C features 18-inch polished-aluminum wheels with P225/60R18 all-season performance tires; chrome exterior mirror caps and door handles; plus a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.

The 363 horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine with TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission, Sport mode and paddle shifters is available on the rear-wheel drive Chrysler 300C.

As the pinnacle of the 2015 Chrysler brand lineup, the new 300C Platinum adds the following appointments to the 300C model: black, or a signature two-tone Indigo/Linen interior environment with segment-exclusive quilted and perforated Nappa leather on front and rear seats; Nappa leather door panels with exclusive quilted inserts; ultra-premium Poltrona Frau Foligno leather instrument panel and center console wrapping; French accent stitching; black or two-tone Indigo/Linen leather-wrapped steering wheel with die-cast paddle shifters and unique chrome accent ring; and specially selected and hand-sanded natural pore wood that is matte finished for greater beauty.

Like its model name, the 2015 Chrysler 300C Platinum trades traditional chrome accents for a model-exclusive Platinum Chrome finish. A touring-tuned suspension, paddle shifters, sport mode and large 20-inch polished-aluminum wheels with P245/45R20 all-season performance tires are also included.

In addition, the Chrysler 300C Platinum rear-wheel drive can be ordered with the 363 horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine with TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission, Sport mode and paddle shifters.

The top-of-the-line 2015 Chrysler 300C Platinum has a U.S. MSRP of $42,395 (plus $995 destination).

For 2015, all four Chrysler 300 models are available with the segment's most technologically advanced AWD system for even greater all-season traction with an EPA estimated fuel economy of 18 mpg city and 27 mpg highway.

From award-winning Uconnect Access services, to the new 7-inch full color driver information display, to the new and easy-to-use 8.4-inch touchscreen to 3-D navigation, the 2015 Chrysler 300 delivers the latest high-tech features for the ultimate driving experience.

The new 2015 Chrysler 300 features an all-new 7-inch full-color driver information display (DID), which enables the driver to personalize the information displayed in the instrument cluster. The 2015 Chrysler 300 driver information display is designed to visually communicate information, using graphics and text, quickly and easily.

The DID offers a wide range of customization options, from a basic digital speed read out to more detailed vehicle status information, such as tire pressure, fuel economy, audio, warning messages and turn-by-turn navigation.

Operation of the DID is intuitive and clearly communicated to users with easy-to-understand icons and instructions. Using buttons on the steering wheel, drivers can customize the screen with as much or as little information as they desire. There are three areas of the instrument cluster display that can be customized with time, temperature, audio, compass or speedometer. The main screens found inside the instrument cluster menu are: gears, fuel economy, vehicle messages, performance information, trip, audio and when equipped, advance driver assistance system information.

Once a main screen is chosen, it becomes the default setting and the vehicle will remember the user's selection upon restarting the new Chrysler 300. Vehicle concerns are instantly reported to the driver via pop-up warning messages on the display. Warning messages are then stored so a driver can review the message at their convenience.

Each of the newest 2015 Chrysler 300 models come standard with an 8.4-inch touchscreen. The 8.4A is standard on the 300 and 300S, with the option to upgrade to the 8.4AN. The 300C and 300C Platinum models come standard with the Uconnect 8.4AN.

Uconnect 8.4A features and services are available via an 8.4-inch color touchscreen. The system includes a six-month trial of Uconnect Access service and five-year trial of Uconnect Access via Mobile. With its user-friendly touchscreen display and large, easy-to-use icons located along the bottom of the screen, the system offers touchscreen operation for the radio, personal audio devices with player controls, climate, phone and navigation (customer-activated navigation).

A range of features, offered by the premium Uconnect 8.4AN, provides customers with multiple ways to connect their vehicle; HD Radio, one-year trial of SiriusXM Radio (included), five-year trial of SiriusXM Travel Link and SiriusXM Traffic (included); and voice recognition technology to provide handsfree operation of mobile phones, music and texting. This system also includes a USB, SD card and 3.5 mm auxiliary input in the media console.

Uconnect Access: A suite of connected services

The Uconnect 8.4A and 8.4AN provide owners with an included 6-month or 12-month trial of Uconnect Access services. A variety of services leverage a built-in data connection. With the Uconnect Access app, users can remotely lock or unlock doors or start their vehicles via the web or a smartphone. The Uconnect system includes a 9-1-1 call button on the rearview mirror for a direct connection to emergency services. An Assist Call button also is integrated into the rearview mirror to summon help directly from a roadside assistance provider or connect with Chrysler Group's Chrysler Customer Care or Uconnect Customer Care.

Owners will be confident to know that the all-new 2015 Chrysler 300 is designed to be forward-thinking, providing the freedom to upgrade Uconnect Access services, without having to replace their factory installed Uconnect systems. Uconnect Access services are updatable over the air and will downloaded directly to the 8.4AN system, keeping services current and enabling customers to continually evolve their in-vehicle connectivity experience.

With their hands on the wheel, Chrysler 300 customers also can use Uconnect Access, a state-of-the-art voice recognition system that uses the embedded connectivity to access cloud-based voice recognition. When a compatible (check UconnectPhone.com for device compatibility) Bluetooth mobile phone with the Message Access Profile (MAP) is paired, Uconnect Access will:

To respond or compose any new text, drivers need to simply dictate a message of 100 characters or less. The Uconnect system will send the message to a "cloud-based voice-recognition server," which converts spoken words to text and "reads" it back for accuracy before sending verbatim. And it can all be done handsfree, without having to memorize any pre-approved messages.

Drivers unsure of their destination and looking for popular locations around them can use their voice to conduct a Yelp search and simply say what they are looking for. En route, passengers also can check e-mail or browse news sites. On-demand Wi-Fi hotspot capability enabled by Uconnect Access provides in-cabin wireless Internet connectivity via laptop, tablet or smartphone, whether on the move or at the worksite. Passengers can purchase Wi-Fi for a day, week or month.

The Chrysler 300 includes Uconnect Access Via Mobile, an extension of Chrysler Group's suite of Uconnect Access services. Uconnect Access Via Mobile enables customers to enjoy their personal Aha by Harman, iHeartRadio, Pandora and Slacker Internet radio accounts and stream audio content using their own mobile device data plans. The result: a truly personalized listening experience.

With Pandora, for instance, customers can register their preferences by hitting the app's familiar buttons - "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" - which are displayed on the available 8.4-inch touchscreen. In addition, unique steering-wheel controls enable song skipping.

The Uconnect system includes voice recognition technology that enables drivers to operate their mobile phone, music and navigation system handsfree, while they stay focused on the road ahead. When a compatible Bluetooth mobile phone is initially connected to the system, the phone book within a mobile phone is automatically downloaded, synchronizing as many as 5,000 phone book entries, which can then be selected by simply saying a contact name. The feature also allows drivers to switch radio modes, tune to SiriusXM Radio, AM, FM, and HD Radio (on Uconnect 8.4AN) and request real-time information (such as fuel prices) from the available SiriusXM Travel Link (on Uconnect 8.4AN) using natural voice commands. The handsfree option promotes driver focus, freedom, value and flexibility.

A variety of ways to control your content

The Uconnect system's controls are placed on the steering wheel in addition to the center stack. Chrysler Group LLC was the first vehicle manufacturer to integrate these rocker switches at the back of the steering wheel, where research has shown customers have a preference. Audio system controls, including next station, radio preset and previous station or track, are located on the left rear. Volume up or down and change audio source are located on the right rear of the steering wheel. This means drivers can keep their hands on the wheel while enjoying a variety of entertainment content sources.

The Uconnect 8.4AN offers navigation standard, including 3-D imagery of landmarks, city models and digital terrain. The Uconnect systems utilize the large, 8.4-inch touchscreen to deliver directions, lane guidance and points of interest. Directions are given audibly and also appear in the vehicle information center - so information is available when the driver needs it. The system features enhanced graphics and a one-step voice entry system so customers can easily say the address and navigate on the go.

Navigation can be activated, on the Uconnect 8.4A system, any time after the vehicle sale.

HD Radio (on Uconnect 8.4AN), SiriusXM Radio and a variety of ways to access digital music, including, USB and 3.5 mm auxiliary inputs as well as a remote USB port in the media console all come standard.

SiriusXM provides information and entertainment. Included with the Uconnect 8.4AN, SiriusXM Travel Link is available as part of a five-year trial and can be operated via voice to provide premium data services and information to make every trip more efficient. SiriusXM Travel Link services include:

In addition to building on its "Top Safety Pick" credentials from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the Chrysler 300 offers more than 80 safety and security features, including many that are new for 2015. New available features for the model year include Full-speed Forward Collision Warning-Plus, which provides autonomous braking and, under certain circumstances, slows or brings the vehicle to a full stop when frontal collision appears imminent.

Adaptive Cruise Control-Plus with Full Stop helps maintain distance from the vehicle ahead and, under certain traffic conditions, the system can bring the new 2015 Chrysler 300 to full stop without driver intervention.
