BAIC Beijing B40 Concept
The Beijing B40 Concept is a concept off-road vehicle by BAIC, which debuted at the 2008 Beijing Auto Show, China, as the vision of BAIC next off-road vehicle as well as all new series Beijing off-road vehicles.
BAIC Beijing is a brand which has long history of ORV in China. This B40 Concept showcases the ambitions of setting up a new off-road icon.
As a compact 2-door off-roader, it inspires younger generation's passion of off-road driving.
Beijing B40 Concept shows a classic hard-core off-road silhouette, very tight surface, and simple elements. Easy removable roof panel enables quick conversion from a closed body to an open one. Bumpers, fender flares, doors are also modular design, which can easily transform or modify the vehicle into different modes for specific use.
Five-block grille in front, round shape headlight under outer lens, and L shape lines on doors indicate the new generation Beijing brand design. These recognizable features not only come from Beijing military vehicle design, but also go with a deeper Chinese culture behind.
