Zagato is an Italian coachbuilder and design house from Milan, founded in 1919 by Ugo Zagato. He brought aircraft-industry techniques into body construction and became known for lightweight aerodynamic bodies and the distinctive "double-bubble" roof. It has a long record of working with makers such as Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Aston Martin and Ferrari, and its cars scored many racing victories. The company is active, remains family-owned and is led by Andrea Zagato.
