TVR is a British carmaker founded in 1946 in Blackpool by Trevor Wilkinson, whose name gave the brand its title. It became known for lightweight, fibreglass-bodied sports cars with powerful engines and a raw character free of electronic aids; iconic models include the Griffith, Chimaera, Cerbera and Tuscan, especially from the era of owner Peter Wheeler with large naturally aspirated V8s. The brand went through a long decline but remains the subject of revival efforts; in 2025 it was acquired by Charge Holdings.
