Stola was an Italian coachbuilder and model-making firm near Turin (Rivoli), founded in 1919 by Alfredo Stola. It originally made wooden models for foundries and gradually specialised in styling models, prototypes and concept cars for major manufacturers such as Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and Alfa Romeo. Its concept cars include the S81 Stratos (2000) and a Porsche Boxster-based GTS. The independent company was acquired by the RGZ group in 2004 and, around 2014, passed to Blutec (part of the METEC group).
