Skoda Epiq
Compact, clever, confident: the all-new Škoda Epiq extends Škoda Auto's successful electric portfolio into the entry-level segment, combining compact dimensions with a spacious interior and high everyday usability. In its base variant, the Epiq achieves price parity with its ICE counterpart, the Kamiq, in many markets, making it the most affordable fully electric Škoda model and bringing the brand's electric vehicles within reach of an even broader group of customers. The city SUV crossover plays a key role in Škoda's electric portfolio and, together with the Peaq, will double the brand's all-electric model range. Developed within the Brand Group Core, the Epiq supports the Volkswagen Group's competitive positioning in the important compact, high-volume electric segment.
The Epiq is the first Škoda model to be built on the new MEB+ platform and the brand's first all-electric model with front-wheel drive. Optimized for a new generation of compact electric vehicles, the platform combines reduced weight with high efficiency. With a range of around 440 kilometres and fast charging capabilities, the Epiq is suited to both city driving and longer journeys. The compact SUV crossover features typical Škoda values such as spaciousness and practicality and the 475-litre luggage compartment is among the largest in its class. An attractive price-to-value proposition makes electric mobility accessible to an even wider range of customers and the distinctive design incorporates all elements of the new Modern Solid design language for the first time in a Škoda production model.
Exterior: the first Škoda production model to fully incorporate the Modern Solid design language
The all-new Epiq is the first Škoda model to fully incorporate the new Modern Solid design language. Its distinctive look is defined by clear lines, conveying functionality and authenticity. The Epiq's T-shaped light signature, making its debut in a Škoda production model, is set to become another defining visual element of the Czech car manufacturer's design language, alongside the glossy black Tech-Deck Face. Thanks to its wide range of aerodynamic features, the Epiq achieves an impressive drag coefficient of just 0.275.
Distinctive and functional from every angle
The exterior of the all-new Škoda Epiq is fully aligned with the new Modern Solid design language. Minimalist design and clean lines create a distinctive and functional appearance.
For the first time in a Škoda production model, the front end is defined by slim T-shaped headlights, which frame the characteristic glossy black Tech-Deck Face. This defining element will be gradually adopted across future Škoda SUV models. Vertical air intakes integrated into the front bumper, first introduced with the Vision 7S concept, are part of the new front-end layout.
The side view emphasises the Epiq's confident stance, with a high-set shoulder line and a wide lower body. Details such as the roof rails reinforce its strong visual presence.
In line with the Modern Solid design language, the rear section follows a minimalist approach. Slim T-shaped rear lights frame the Škoda lettering, and the rear bumper repeats the pattern of the vertical air intakes, echoing the design of the front end.
The front headlights are available in two LED versions. The standard version combines daytime running lights and turn indicators in the upper section, while the lower section incorporates dipped and full beam in a single LED unit. Optionally, the Epiq can be equipped with LED Matrix headlights with 12 light segments, which automatically prevent glare for oncoming traffic when the full beam is active. The system offers four adaptive lighting modes (for city driving, country roads, motorways, and poor weather conditions), and can also be adjusted for left-hand traffic.
The rear lights also follow the Modern Solid design language with a distinctive T-shaped signature. As at the front, two LED-based versions are available, both providing all lighting functions via LED technology.
Excellent aerodynamics contribute to lower energy consumption
The all-new Škoda Epiq boasts a drag coefficient of just 0.275, thanks to a range of features designed to optimise airflow around the vehicle and reduce electricity consumption.
Active cooling shutters behind the front bumper open automatically when cooling is required for the battery system. When demand is low, they close to reduce drag. Aerodynamic efficiency is further supported by the wheels and by Air Curtain channels that direct airflow around the front bumper and wheels. Additional measures include a cover that reduces the gap between tyre and wheel arch, keeping airflow closer to the body, aerodynamic wheel trims, and an extensively optimised vehicle underbody that allows air to flow smoothly beneath the vehicle.
At the rear, a diffuser with an aerodynamic spoiler element helps guide underbody airflow cleanly away from the vehicle, further reducing turbulence. It works together with the aerodynamically optimised roofline, complemented by a roof spoiler and integrated finlets. Further airflow optimisation is achieved through aerodynamic edges on the rear lights and fins positioned at the rear of the wheel arch cladding.
The all-new Škoda Epiq is 4,171 mm long, 1,798 mm wide, and 1,581 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,601 mm. It is available in six body colours, including Timiano Green, which was first introduced with the Elroq. Wheels range from 17" to 19". An optional panoramic sunroof enhances the light and airy feel of the interior, and an electric sunblind helps reduce heat build-up in sunny weather.
Interior: designed for space, intuitive use and everyday convenience
In line with the Modern Solid design language, the interior of the Epiq is defined by a clean, minimalist layout and intuitive controls. Despite its compact exterior dimensions, the Epiq offers a generous amount of space for passengers and luggage. The 475-litre luggage compartment is among the largest in its class and is complemented by a range of practical storage solutions, including a 25-litre compartment beneath the bonnet - the frunk.

Among the most notable features here is the frunk, which adds a further 25 litres of storage space. Additional compartments in the door panels, centre armrest and glove compartment provide a combined storage volume of more than 28 litres, further enhancing the SUV crossover's versatility.
Across the range, textile upholstery is produced exclusively from recycled polyester fibres (PES). The Studio Design Selection, offered with the Essence trim, features a minimalist black and grey look. The Loft Grey Design Selection, standard with the Selection trim, introduces a new embossed pattern, complemented by Techtona, a high-quality leather alternative used on the dashboard and door panels. The Loft Mint Design Selection follows the same approach and is finished in Mint Green. At the top of the range, the Suite Design Selection combines Suedia seat upholstery with a three-dimensional pattern and Techtona in Tabora Brown. Techtona is also used on the dashboard and door inserts. Both Loft variants and the Suite interior are equipped with ambient lighting as standard.
The standard specification of the Epiq can be extended with a range of optional equipment packages and individual options, including a panoramic sunroof, a heat pump and a tow bar. The Epiq 35 and Epiq 40 offer a towing capacity of up to 500 kg with both braked and unbraked trailers. For the Epiq 55, the towing capacity is up to 750 kg for an unbraked trailer and up to 1,200 kg for a braked trailer. The maximum nose weight is 75 kg across all variants.
The Essence trim can be equipped with the Convenience, Tech, and Travel Packages, with the Convenience and Tech packages included as standard in the Selection trim. The Convenience Package includes features such as a heated steering wheel and heated front seats, dual-zone Climatronic, a cable pouch on the rear seat backrests, and Top Tether mounted hooks. The Tech Package adds front parking sensors, KESSY (keyless locking and starting) with alarm, Mobile Digital Key readiness, and wireless phone charging, among other features. The Travel Package includes navigation, Travel Assist 3.0, Crew Protect Assist and a three-year subscription to Škoda Connect Premium services.
The Selection trim can be further enhanced with the Light & View Package, which adds LED Matrix headlights, Top LED rear lights and an illuminated Tech-Deck Face with Light Band, which will be available to order at a later date. The Premium Package includes a panoramic camera system, a 10-speaker Canton sound system, a frunk, and the most advanced version of Travel Assist 3.0, including Remote Parking and Trained Parking.
Focus on recycled and animal-free materials
The Epiq is the first Škoda series production model to feature exclusively animal-free materials. Leather upholstery is replaced by Techtona, a high-quality leather alternative developed for durability. All textile seat coverings are made from 100% recycled polyester fibres (PES). Practical interior elements such as the umbrella in the door, the parking ticket holder, and the ice scraper are also made from recycled materials. In total, the new Epiq incorporates more than 34 kilograms of recycled materials.
The Epiq is equipped with a wide range of Simply Clever features, some of which are making their debut in Škoda models this year. Alongside the frunk, the Epiq offers door-handle protection foil to prevent scratches beneath the door handles. Customers will also find popular features such as the umbrella in the driver's door, the ice scraper in the tailgate and a bag for charging cables. Other features that are also standard in every Epiq include bottle holders in the front doors (1.5 litres) and rear doors (1.0 litre), bag hooks in the luggage compartment, coat hooks on the B-pillars and an Easy Open cupholder in the centre tunnel. Optional equipment packages add further features. The Convenience Package equips the Epiq with a glasses compartment, fabric-lined false floor in the luggage compartment, Top Tether hooks and storage folders. With the Tech Package, the centre console is enhanced by a Phone Box with wireless charging, while the Travel Package also adds two USB-C ports in the rear, each offering up to 60 W charging power.
Battery and powertrain variants: front-wheel drive architecture and efficient electric performance
The Epiq is Škoda's first electric model built on the MEB+ platform, optimized for small front-wheel-drive electric cars. It uses smaller, lighter traction batteries, allowing for lower energy consumption and increased interior space. This SUV crossover is available with two traction battery capacities and three power variants, ranging from 85 kW to 155 kW, and offering a maximum range of around 440 kilometres. At DC fast-charging stations, the range-topping 55 version can be charged from 10% to 80% in approximately 24 minutes.
The Epiq is available in two traction-battery versions: the smaller battery has a gross capacity of 38.5 kWh (37.5 kWh net) and uses lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) chemistry. The larger battery offers a gross capacity of 55 kWh (51.5 kWh net) and uses nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) chemistry, providing a higher energy density and supporting a longer driving range.
The Epiq is offered in three power variants: 35, 40, and 55. The Epiq 35 delivers a maximum output of 85 kW using a smaller traction battery, as does the Epiq 40, which, however, offers a maximum output of 99 kW. Both variants deliver maximum torque of 267 Nm, cover around 310 kilometres on a single charge, and reach a top speed of 150 km/h.
The range-topping Epiq 55 is paired with the larger battery and drives the front wheels with an output of 155 kW and a maximum torque of 290 Nm. Its top speed is limited to 160 km/h. This variant offers a range of around 440 kilometres and fast DC charging from 10% to 80% in approximately 24 minutes. All variants are powered by a highly efficient permanent-magnet synchronous motor, enabling dynamic acceleration. Regenerative braking, a coasting function and an ECO assistant support efficient driving and extend the vehicle's range.
First Škoda model on the MEB+ electric platform
The Epiq makes its debut on the new MEB+ electric platform. Alongside the Epiq, three other Volkswagen Group models will also be introduced on this platform this year, positioning the car manufacturer in the competitive small BEV segment: the Volkswagen ID. Polo, the Volkswagen ID. Cross, and the Cupra Raval. The front-wheel-drive configuration distinguishes the Epiq from other Škoda BEV models. The platform architecture is designed for smaller, lighter traction batteries, contributing to reduced energy consumption and efficient vehicle packaging.
The Epiq features bidirectional charging. This enables the energy stored in the battery to be used outside the vehicle. Specifically, the Epiq supports V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) for powering external electrical devices, as well as V2H (Vehicle-to-Home) and V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid), subject to the use of a compatible wallbox.
Both axles of the new Epiq are fitted with disc brakes, with ventilated discs at the front. Due to the front-wheel-drive configuration, the rear axle does not use regenerative braking to slow the car down, resulting in more frequent use of the rear brakes and consequently limiting the oxidation of the discs. The front axle features a MacPherson layout with lower triangular wishbones and a transverse torsion stabiliser. At the rear, a proven trailing-arm axle with a torsion beam is used.
The new Epiq makes everyday driving even more convenient thanks to its full one-pedal driving function in B mode. Once activated, the driver can control the vehicle using only the accelerator pedal: when it is released, the Epiq decelerates smoothly while efficiently recuperating energy back into the battery. The intensity of recuperation can also be adapted to the current driving situation and personal preferences, bringing greater comfort, especially in urban traffic, when moving slowly in queues or when driving down long descents. The function therefore supports intuitive vehicle control, a calmer driving experience and more efficient use of the electric powertrain.
Safety and assistance systems: comprehensive, predictive and reassuring driver support
The Škoda Epiq is equipped with a comprehensive range of advanced driver assistance systems. Even in its standard specification, the electric SUV crossover comes with Front Assist, Side Assist including Rear Traffic Alert and Exit Warning, Lane Assist, and Traffic Sign Recognition. Travel Assist 3.0, the most advanced driver assistance system currently available in Škoda vehicles, is an option, while Crossroad Assist improves safety at junctions.
As part of the Travel Package, the Epiq can be equipped with the latest version of Travel Assist 3.0, the most advanced driver assistance system currently available in Škoda vehicles. In addition to Traffic Jam Assist and Emergency Assist, the latest generation can respond to traffic lights and can bring the vehicle to a standstill when required. As part of the Premium Package, Travel Assist 3.0 is complemented by Intelligent Park Assist, including Trained Parking and Remote Parking functions.
Cutting-edge assistance systems and seven airbags as standard
The Epiq's standard package of assistance systems includes Front Assist, Side Assist including Rear Traffic Alert and Exit Warning, Lane Assist, Predictive Speed Limiter, Intelligent Speed Assist, and the upgraded Driver Alert system with driver monitoring. The system monitors the driver's fatigue by tracking eye movements via an interior camera integrated into the rear-view mirror. The Epiq is also equipped with seven airbags, including a centre airbag, as standard. Traffic Sign Recognition Online uses data from the front camera and continuously updated online data based on information from vehicles that have previously passed through the same section.
The latest assists in the smallest electric SUV
Optional systems include Crossroad Assist, which uses new corner radars positioned in the front bumper to alert the driver to cars, motorcycles, cyclists, and e-scooter users approaching from the side. Additional assistance systems include Adaptive Lane Assist and Emergency Assist.
Connectivity: intuitive digital services and seamless vehicle access
The new Škoda Epiq is equipped with the latest 13" Android-based infotainment system, designed from the outset for intuitive use. Thanks to seamless smartphone integration, the infotainment system becomes an extension of the user's mobile device. Digital services are complemented by the MyŠkoda app, which provides remote access to important vehicle information, EV-specific functions and charging services, including the control of Škoda Charger wallboxes.
The Škoda Epiq is equipped with the latest 13" Android-based infotainment system. Compared with the previous generation of infotainment systems, it offers updated graphics, redesigned controls, and a new home screen with a clear grid-based app layout. Functions such as favourites, a system-wide search, and expanded personalisation options support intuitive operation. In addition to native Škoda applications, users have access to dedicated third-party apps such as Spotify, YouTube, and Google Maps.
The mobile digital key is planned to debut in Škoda vehicles in late 2026, enabling drivers to use an iPhone or Android device in place of a conventional key. It will allow users to lock, unlock, and start the vehicle, and is designed to support convenient vehicle sharing between multiple drivers.
The MyŠkoda app provides access to a wide range of vehicle functions and services. For electric vehicle users, it offers EV-specific features that simplify everyday use: Remote Charging allows users to start or stop charging manually when plans change. Following a one-time authorisation within the Powerpass subscription, Plug & Charge enables charging at public charging stations without additional authorisation. The Departure Planner ensures that the vehicle is heated or cooled to the desired temperature at the specified time. For spontaneous journeys, the Online Climate Control function allows remote heating, including seat and steering wheel heating, as well as air-conditioning.
