Singer Vehicle Design is an American company from Los Angeles, founded in 2009 by Rob Dickinson, former singer of the British band Catherine Wheel. It is not a standalone carmaker — Singer meticulously restores and rebuilds classic Porsche 911s, usually based on the 964 generation. Much of the bodywork is made of carbon fibre and the engines are reworked in partnership with Cosworth and Williams. The finished cars are among the most expensive and sought-after restomods in the world. The company is active and keeps adding new versions.
