Peugeot is a French carmaker whose family business began in 1810 as a steel mill; it started building automobiles in 1896 (Automobiles Peugeot), making it one of the oldest car manufacturers in the world. The brand is symbolised by its lion emblem and a broad passenger-car range across segments, from the 205 to today's 208, 308 and 3008. Peugeot also has a rich motorsport history, including wins at Le Mans and the Dakar Rally. It is now part of the Stellantis group, formed in 2021.
