Pagani Automobili is an Italian manufacturer of exclusive sports cars, founded in 1992 by the Argentine-Italian engineer Horacio Pagani. Based in San Cesario sul Panaro near Modena, it specialises in carbon-fibre composites, including its own carbotanium material combining carbon and titanium. It gained fame with the Zonda and its successors, the Huayra and Utopia, powered by V12 engines from Mercedes-AMG. Production is limited to a few dozen cars a year; the brand is active.
