Maserati is an Italian car manufacturer founded in 1914 in Bologna by the Maserati brothers; it is based in Modena and uses a trident as its emblem. It builds luxury sports cars and grand tourers and has a rich racing history, including a Formula One title. Iconic models include the Quattroporte, Ghibli, GranTurismo, the MC12 supercar and the more recent MC20. Having passed through Citroën, De Tomaso and Ferrari ownership, it is today part of the Stellantis group and remains active.
