Lobini was a Brazilian car maker founded in 1999 by José Orlando Lobo and Fábio Birolini, whose surnames gave the company its name. Its model was the lightweight Lobini H1 sports car, launched in 2005 and styled by former Lotus designer Graham Holmes along the lines of the Lotus Elise. It used a tubular chassis, a fibreglass body and a turbocharged 1.8-litre Volkswagen engine (178 hp). Around 70 were built before production ended in 2012.
