Italdesign (formerly Italdesign Giugiaro) is an Italian design and engineering studio based in Moncalieri near Turin, founded in 1968 by Giorgetto Giugiaro and Aldo Mantovani. It has styled many production cars, including the first-generation Volkswagen Golf, Passat and Scirocco, and is renowned for dozens of concept cars. Since 2010 it has belonged, via Lamborghini, to the Volkswagen Group (under Audi), becoming wholly owned in 2015. Besides design work it also builds its own limited-run cars such as the Zerouno.
