HSV (Holden Special Vehicles) was an Australian performance-car division established in 1987 by Holden and Tom Walkinshaw Racing. It built high-performance versions of Holden models, mainly based on the Commodore and usually powered by V8 engines; its line-up included the ClubSport, the luxury Senator, the range-topping GTS and the Maloo utility. In August 2020 General Motors closed HSV and replaced it with General Motors Specialty Vehicles (GMSV). The brand is therefore defunct.
