Fisker Automotive was an American car company founded in 2007 in Anaheim, California by Danish car designer Henrik Fisker. It became known for the Fisker Karma — one of the first production luxury plug-in hybrids — and was developing the Atlantic sedan. The company went bankrupt in 2013; its assets were bought by China's Wanxiang Group and became the Karma Automotive brand. Henrik Fisker later founded a separate company, Fisker Inc., in 2016.
