Caparo is a defunct British sports-car project; the Caparo T1 was built by Caparo Vehicle Technologies and designed by former McLaren F1 engineers Ben Scott-Geddes and Graham Halstead. The T1 was an extreme two-seat, track-focused car inspired by Formula One – a V8 of around 575 hp in a car weighing only about 470 kg gave it an F1-like power-to-weight ratio. The car was unveiled in 2006, only 15 were built, and the company went into administration in 2015.
