Ascari Cars was a British sports car manufacturer founded in 1994 by Dutch businessman Klaas Zwart and named after two-time Formula 1 world champion Alberto Ascari. Based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, it built small runs of BMW V8-powered sports cars, including the Ecosse, the KZ1 and the A10 prototype, which marked the company's tenth anniversary. Hit by weak sales and high production costs, the marque went bankrupt in 2010.
