Lincoln is an American marque, the luxury division of Ford Motor Company. It was founded in 1917 by Henry Leland and acquired by Ford in 1922. A long-standing rival to Cadillac, it became known for stately cars such as the Continental and Town Car, and today centres on the Navigator and Aviator SUVs. Since the 2021 model year it has sold only SUVs and crossovers. The brand is active.
