Jeep is an American brand of off-road vehicles and SUVs. It grew out of the Willys MB military vehicle of the Second World War; the Jeep trademark was filed in 1943 and the first civilian model followed in 1945. The name is synonymous with four-wheel drive and off-road capability, its iconic models including the Wrangler (built since 1986), the Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee. Jeep is active today and belongs to the Stellantis group (formerly via Chrysler).
