Honda Motor is a Japanese maker of cars, motorcycles and engines, founded in 1948 by Soichiro Honda and Takeo Fujisawa and headquartered in Tokyo. It is the world's largest motorcycle manufacturer and is renowned for its reliable petrol engines. It also builds robots, generators and aircraft, and since 1986 has run the luxury marque Acura. Iconic cars include the Civic, Accord, CR-V and the NSX supercar. The company remains active.
