Dacia is a Romanian car manufacturer founded in 1966 in Mioveni, long known for the Dacia 1300 derived from the Renault 12. Since 1999 it has been part of the French Renault group and focuses on affordable, value-for-money vehicles. Its current line-up includes the Logan, the Sandero and the Duster SUV, with the Sandero repeatedly ranking as Europe's best-selling car among private buyers. The brand is active and is Romania's largest exporter.
