Citroën is a French automaker founded in 1919 in Paris by André Citroën. It became known for technically pioneering cars such as the front-wheel-drive Traction Avant, the utilitarian 2CV, and the hydropneumatically suspended DS and CX. Today it is part of Stellantis, the group formed in 2021 by the merger of Groupe PSA and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Citroën builds passenger and light commercial vehicles, with a current range that includes the C3, C4, C5 Aircross and Berlingo.
