Buick is an American automobile brand and today part of General Motors. Its origins go back to David Dunbar Buick, who incorporated the company in 1903 in Detroit; five years later Buick became the foundation of the newly formed General Motors. It builds mainly upper-mid-range cars and SUVs and is one of the oldest surviving American car brands. The marque is especially successful in China, which is its largest market.
